Uninstall Stacks Application in Mac OS X – Stacks removal steps from Mac OS X

Start the Activity monitor to look for the processes running, if you find the Stacks application process running then quit it, make sure that Stacks processes is not running.

Searching "Stacks" vs "Contents"
Delete all files and folders related to the Stacks app.
A reboot might be necessary to completely remove some apps.
